AMERICAN MUSCLE

The American Muscle car is a category of high performance automobiles principally produced from 1964-1971. Best described as a mid-size car with a typically large and powerful V8 engine, the American Muscle car showed its dominance for maximum acceleration on the street.

While the 1964 Pontiac Tempest Le Mans GTO is usually credited with the origin of the muscle car, the genre has since been glorified by names such as the Dodge Super Bee, Chevrolet Impala SS and Chevrolet Camaro. To this day, the automotive market still screams for more American Muscle, as this has been made evident through the recent resurgence of models such as the Charger, Magnum and Mustang.

At Concepts On Wheels, we embrace American Muscle of the past and present, and we've got the projects to prove it!
